I'm in the never ending process of clearing out my garage so that I can turn it into a school room for my 5 home schooled kids. So while clearing, I found some rusted pots and thought that they would be perfect to hold all their school supplies.

All you need to turn your rust into retro is:
Metal or Plastic Scraper
(I used a flat head screwdriver on some of them)
Spray paint
(the all purpose kind that can go on plastic/metal/wood/etc. I used Valspar Spray Paint)
Step 1: Clean and scrape off any loose paint.
Step 2: Spray with Rustolium(or rust remover/reducer if needed. Let dry then spray with paint. ***Note: With Valspar paint you have to paint each coat within 4 hours or you will have to wait 3 days to add more coats. If you wait longer you run a high rick of crackling your paint.***
I love what you did with them! They look brand new and the colors are great!
