Dr. Grandma from http://www.doctorgrandmas.com/ sent me samples to test some of their whole grain products, along with some samples to give away as a FREEBIE!!! Yippee! My first product review for this blog :) My 12 year old daughter was so excited to try it out that she asked if she could make it! I LOVE when my children are independent that I said, "Sure! Go ahead," with a proud smile on my face:) She added blueberries, mixed it and voila! The above result!
My husband, me, my 12 year old daughter, and the 2 and a half year old baby loved them. When I sprinkled the zero calorie fruit extract sweetener it tasted even better.
My husband liked the sweetener so much he opened a sample packet and ate it like candy. It is really the best zero calorie sweetener I've ever tasted! You can use it just like you would sugar. I am going to try it out with all my recipes!
The muffins got me so excited that the next morning I made the whole grain pancakes. I made some plain, berry, and chocolate chip pancakes to each of the child's liking. This time 4 children as well as my husband and I loved them! They really are more filling than regular white pancakes!
This is an AWESOME product for your food storage. It's whole grain that you will actually eat and use, it's good for you and the zero calorie sweetener is a must!!!
